Serving Native students from across the country, the Institute is a noted college based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. An initial grant in 2005 supported the creation of a short term Residency program that brings noted poets and writers to campus for week-long workshops, classes, readings, and interaction with creative writing students. The current grant offers ongoing support for the program.
