William S. Merwin is one of America’s most read and much-loved poets. His numerous books speak to his pacifist and environmentalist beliefs. He reads in this program a variety of poems beginning with one written in Santa Fe in 1969 up to present work, before joining in conversation with noted fellow poet and friend, Robert Hass.
