Melanie Rae Thon is the author of the novels Sweet Hearts, Iona Moon and Meteors in August, and the short story collections First, Body and Girls in the Grass. In 1996 she was selected one of Granta’s Best Young American Novelists.
She is currently Professor in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Utah.
