Kathy Christison
Kathleen Christison is a writer and political analyst, specializing in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. She is the author of three books on the subject including The Wound of Dispossession which won the Bronze Award from ForeWord Magazine, and she co-authored with her late husband Bill Christison, Palestine in Pieces: Graphic Perspectives on the Israeli Occupation. She has published numerous articles and book reviews on foreign policy and Middle East issues and writes frequently for Counterpunch. Christison was also a member of the National Book Critics Circle for many years and has lectured around the country. A political analyst with the CIA during the 1970s, she has lived in Santa Fe, NM, since 1979.
