Avi Lewis is an award-winning Canadian television journalist and documentary filmmaker. He is well known for his 2004 documentary The Take, a story of hope and resistance in the global economy that followed Argentina’s movement of worker-run businesses. In 2009-10 he produced and hosted Al Jazeera English Television’s Fault Lines and in 2008, he was the host of Al Jazeera’s Inside USA. Currently he is directing a documentary about the revolutionary power of climate change, written by Naomi Klein and forthcoming in 2014.
