Lannan Art Grants
In order to support the creativity of contemporary artists in mid- to senior-career stages, foster discussion of contemporary art, and bring works of art to a broad audience, funding has been provided to organizations for exhibitions, scholarly publications, and special projects.
Grants are awarded exclusively to non-profit institutions, with supported projects ranging from monographic publications of artists’ works, as in the case of Radius Books’ publication of Thomas Joshua Cooper: Shoshone Falls Catalogue, to exhibitions at museums across the country such as the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College, Chicago; the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, New York; and The Menil Collection, Houston.
